Artist in Residence - RSPB Scotland

Thank you to the RSPB Scotland and the SGSAH for choosing me to be the Artist in Residence 2017 for the nature reserve at Loch Lomond. Plans are in motion for an experimental filmpoem showcasing the wildlife and landscape of the reserve. My work at the reserve is set to reflect my doctoral research in terms of creating an emotional relationship with an audiovisual experience, the human senses and landscape. In terms of exhibition, a multi-channel moving image experience is being negotiated. #RSPB

Happy for my filmpoem West of Dalabrog to be nominated for best doctoral award category. The awards ceremony is to be held on the 10th November at BAFTA in London. Great night at BAFTA headquarters. Congratulations to all the winners. #AHRC #BAFTA #Filmpoem

Celebration of Margaret Tait

Excellent evening at MANY Studios in Glasgow, as part of the Outside-in/Inside-out poetry festival. Thanks to Lila Matsumoto for the opportunity to screen West of Dalabrog as part of a celebration of Margaret Tait's work. Thanks also to Sarah Neely for a interesting insight into the Orcadian filmpoet and to Laura Edbrook and Sarah Forrest for a clever performance of the video-essay It is this it is this, it is this. #MargaretTait
